We decided last July to head out to Yosemite Valley. We had only been there once before, but we were immediately addicted. We were hoping to climb Half Dome and prepared to wake up at 4am, but clouds in the sky made us change our plans. Instead, we hiked the Panorama Trail starting at Glacier Point and hiking down to the Valley Floor. It was an eight mile hike passing by three gorgeous waterfalls. The first was Illouette Falls, then Nevada Falls, and the last Vernal Falls. Since it was July the water wasn't moving at it's fastest so we were able to swim in the lake just above Vernal Falls - I can't remember exactly, but I think it was called Emerald Pond. All in all, Yosemite was great, however our campmates were less than desirable, but I will leave that for now.
